Dragon
Hills Golf and Country Club is an investment concept. The intention
of the designers is to create and exclusive residential
and recreational development, whilst retaining the
natural beauty and tranquility of the surrounding
countryside.
To this end, the land
will be subdivided into private plots, varying in
size, and offered for sale individually with golf
membership. This will also allow associate members
and their families to use the other recreational
and sports facilities.
The developers envisage
three different types of housing in the residential
areas. Individual housing units will be situated
in between the fairways on a half to one acre
sized plots, designed to overlook the fairway
and greens, with their backyards connected to
access roads. Exclusive villas will be situated
on small islands surrounded by sparkling waters
occupying 2-3 1/2 acres. Twenty to forty low-rise
cluster housing units are also planned, with views
of the golf courses, each unit ranging in size
between 150-300 square meters.
There will be three types
of driving and pathing roads connecting the residential
areas with all amenities; the Main road will consist
of two-way driving lanes, with bicycle paths, foot
paths and drainage gardens (doubling as sound barriers).
The Feeder or Service roads will connect the main
road with access roads, and these will also have
dual purpose foot and bicycle paths. Access roads
will be cul-de-sacs, to enable privacy to be maintained.
Lastly and most importantly there will be three
18 hole golf courses, each with its own club house.
All of these living facilities are planned and constructed
to compliment the surrounding natural beauty and
to facilitate and ideal golfing experience.
